Wood governs our liver, gall bladder, tendons, ligaments and sense of sight. The emotions it conveys tend to be feelings of depression and anger. You may prefer mornings, spring, wind, sour flavours and the colour green.
Water governs our kidneys, bladder, bones, scalp and sense of hearing. The emotions it conveys tend to be feelings of anxiety and fear. You may prefer afternoons, winter, cold, salty flavours and the colour black.
Fire governs our heart, small intestine, tongue, bloodvessels and speech. The emotions it conveys tend to be feelings of joy and over excitement with possible mood swings. You may prefer mid-days, summer, heat, bitter flavours and the colour red.
Earth governs our spleen, stomach, muscles, mouth, lips and sense of taste. The emotions it conveys tend to be worry and over analysis. You may prefer mornings, late summer, damp, sweet flavours and the colour yellow.

Our team of professional personal trainers are available on an individual session or course basis. Your personal trainer can advise you on the number of sessions best suited to your requirements and achieving your goals. They will guide you through each step of your new lifestyle, setting up workouts for the week, planning your nutrition, fitness assessment, monitoring your progress and providing detailed reports on every aspect of your health and fitness. The initial session is divided in to three sections: Fitness Assessment, Programme Design and Training Session. Your Personal Trainer works with you to set goals and then checks / records key areas of your fitness and general health. A programme is designed, based on your aspirations and the results of the fitness assessment. Your personal trainer then guides you through a one-to-one training session focusing on technique, posture and overall level of fitness. David Cory Toussaint - Personal Trainer David studied for a Bachelor of Science majoring in Sports and Exercise Science at The University of Auckland and has an extensive sporting background. This experience along with his knowledge of health and exercise allows David to keep his clients engaged through a specific, well-balanced exercise selection coupled with his dedication to see people succeed. Specialties: Exercise rehabilitation, strength conditioning, event specific preparation/race day/post, sports specific, weight loss, running training, group training James Earls - Personal Trainer James' career in health and Fitness began when he arrived in New Zealand from Ireland. He studied Sport and Fitness Education at Unitec in Auckland, during which time he coached school soccer which he was very passionate about. He was also involved in the fire service as a placement to ensure health and fitness within the industry. To gain further experience he worked for four years in the gym environment firstly as a gym instructor then as a Personal Trainer. James is passionate about the fitness industry and believes that everyone deserves to live a healthy lifestyle. He will train and educate you on the necessary tools to help you achieve your exercise and fitness goals and keep you motivated throughout your programme.

Lisa Bellingham - Personal Trainer Lisa has been working in the fitness industry for the past 10 years after studying Personal Training and Nutrition at AUT. Over the length of her career in body sculpting she has won numerous national and international titles including Ms Auckland, Ms Australia, Ms International and Ms South Pacific. Lisa’s personal experiences have shown her the mental fortitude that is required in achieving goals that seem unobtainable which has enabled her to bring the best of her training, nutrition and motivation skills to her clients.
